More chalk. These are the results of a walk I took with my friend Wabu. I practically had to drag him but once we started he ended up doing more drawings than I did! We collaborated on the drain monster drawings. Those are my two favorites! I drew the smiley and the others are by Wabu.

Yesterday I felt like this for most of the day. It was one of those heavy awkward days that just feel off. And although I’m pretty sure it was probably like every other day—filled with good and bad—it felt like it was full of not very good things or maybe full of very not good things. Near the end of the day, I decided to go for a walk to try and clear my head and refill it with something better. I brought a few sticks of chalk.

The school sign below was so faded I completely misread it at first. Granted, it was upside-down from my perspective. It made me giggle which was nice, so I filled in the blanks in the hope that someone else would find it funny, too.

When I came upon this end sign painted on the road, I decided it could be a marker for the end of stuff that felt more bad than good and a reminder that perspective is often a huge percentage of the problem.

Today started off with something good—iced coffee sucked through a blue straw. Here’s hoping that means the sucking is all done for the day.
